Va-ca-she-on

I've been away for 5 days and 4 nights this week. In a lovely hotel. With air conditioning. But it cooled off this week. Now that we're leaving, the temps will rise again. Smashing. *eyeroll*

I earned an A in my geography class (weather and climate) and ... *sigh*... an A- in my Philosophical Filmmakers class. Now I definitely got a straight up A on my term paper so that minus part of the grade is from the group grades. How entirely aggravating and exasperating. Oh well. Damn group grades.

That's about all I have to say for the moment. Enjoying my little time off. School begins August 25. I'm a bit nervous again as it's when the campus will be full, unlike summer time. And I know there are going to be two people in at least one of my classes who I do not ... enjoy. But that is life. Ce La Vie.

Oh. Gotta make a to-do list for my time off as well. Joyous.

Actually, it's not.

The difference is small... but a full A would give me 12 value points. An A- gives me 11.10 points.

And it's just the principle of the matter... the group thing dragged down my grade. Grrrrr.

Oh and I just double checked...
My GPA for the summer semester is 3.89. Which I know, isn't bad... but it's just frustrating that my teacher felt the need to tack on that minus part of the A and knock me out of 4.0 territory.

(and all because of group grades! LOL. I will complain forever. It'll be on my tombstone. "DAMN THOSE GROUP GRADES.") Ha ha.
